Protecting Our Daughters
A project born in the love, compassion, and a desire to protect and provide hygiene products and resources to girls in Nairobi, Kenya.
Since its establishment on September 26, 2020, the Protecting Our Daughters (POD) project has distributed 38,900 washable, reusable pads to 18,950 girls at 90 schools, 40 girls’ centers, and 10 tribal gatherings. Identifying a further need for quality underwear, the project has also supplied 16,300 pairs. In a religious initiative, 3,350 girls have embraced Christianity through the project, supported by the distribution of 850 Bibles to help continue their spiritual journey.
