Today we will see how this view of Christianity is bound to fail miserably and lead us to a place of great disappointment and frustration with God. The Book of John was everything Jesus did. His life. His Death. His Teaching. Jesus did everything – checkmate! It’s done. Game over. However, here’s the irony - in checkmate there are no moves left. However, you have a choice. Are you going to follow? Are you going to be a part of it, or not? He’s given us free will; He’s given us our life. Now that we know the life of Jesus through the book of John, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd John are going to show us how we live it out. And we're going to be faced with the question: what are you going to choose?
