Why do Christians obey some commands in the Bible and ignore others? We say commands to greet one another with a kiss or not to eat pork are “cultural,” but then insist that commands related to marriage, divorce or same-sex relationships apply for all time. Are we being inconsistent, or are there consistent standards for applying God’s Word? In this session we will discuss what the Bible really is and how to read and apply it in our rapidly changing world.
