Serve Your City 2025
Serve Your City is a church-wide, three-week serving campaign focused on serving our local communities in three different ways: Giving, Serving, and Loving.
What is Serve Your City? North Coast Church is launching three-week long service project aimed impacting our community simply by the way we Give, Serve and Love them during that time.
Where do I start? You can search for a Serve Your City Project and sign up.
What are the dates for Serve Your City? The Serve Weekend is May 3-4, 2025. However there will be additional dates posted throughout the month. Please check here for Serve Your City Projects.
What are AM shifts vs. PM shifts? There will be two shifts per day on the weekend of May 3 & 4, one morning (AM) and one afternoon (PM). You may sign up for one shift, or if you’re really motivated, you may sign up for several throughout the weekend. No meals will be provided so make sure to bring snacks, lunch or water if needed.
What kind of projects can I expect? There are a wide variety of projects that have been coordinated with our community partners who are in need. We hope to have projects for every person: building, painting, gardening, sewing, assembling kits, giving donations, light duty and family friendly. Projects can be sorted by these categories using project feature dropdown or using the “keyword” search feature.
How do I sign up for a project? Each campus will have staff on-site to assist with sign-ups on March 8 & 9, April 5 & 6, April 12 & 13, and April 26 & 27 before and after service times. If you can’t make it to a campus, we’ve made it super easy to sign up on your own visiting the Serve Your City Project page.
Are you a skilled professional and want to lead or assist with a project? Please let us know by filling out this form. Skilled professionals needed: carpenters, plumbers, electricians, handyman, landscapers. You will be notified if there are still openings in your field, but if you don’t hear back by April 15th, we ask you to please find a another project here.
Why is the email confirmation important? Once you have registered on the Serve Your City website, you will receive an email confirmation which signifies that you’ve signed up correctly. The confirmation email will also include addiotional parking instructions, along with items you are encouraged to bringor wear. Depending on the project, you may receive additional communication from the project manager prior to the project date. If not, simply show up to serve on the day and time noted in your email.
Do I need to bring tools on the project day? Yes, in some cases. Each project description will specify what you are encouraged to bring. Basic gardening tools you have at home are needed for most gardening projects. While some construction-type projects may ask volunteers to bring wireless drills and other tools. Don’t forget a water bottle, as this will be needed at all project locations.
Who should I email with questions? Email the help desk at serveyourcity@northcoastchurch.com
Who can I call with questions? Call (760) 330-6700 x980 and leave a voicemail. Someone will return your call.

In addition, shirts and additional merchandise will be available online. We reccomend ordering no later than April 22nd to ensure you receive your items prior to the project weekend day.
Are the projects family friendly? We will definitely have some “family-friendly” projects. Each project will list whether it is suitable for children. Some projects are better suited for children over 12 years old, while others might be a good fit for 5 years and older. Please read the description carefully. - Invite someone to church or send them the Daily Dose or the sermon.
- Ask your husband or wife how you can be praying for them. If unmarried, offer to pray for a coworker or friend. Follow up with them a few days later!

- Leave a Post-it note with words of affirmation for your co-worker or someone in your household that says “You are_____.”
- Buy a meal for someone who is asking for money.
- Spend time mending a relationship that could use a little work.
- Take on a major task for someone at work or in your household.
